Even with non-stop changes with the Canadian Championship over the past 4 years it still remains to be one of my favourite tournaments on the calendar. Its always nice seeing Canadian teams and players go for a Canadian trophy. Last night Toronto FC would defeat the Ottawa 4-0 and 5-2 on aggregate. Looking forward to the 2 legged final with Montreal!

I've always said that league imposed rivalries such as the Trillium Cup are a bit pointless especially since the arrival of Montreal into Major League Soccer. That being said, the cup definitely added to the atmosphere and gave certain players a little bit extra to play for which manifested in a 5-0 win over the Columbus Crew and another amazing atmosphere.
